West Virginia is For Hope.

It’s a simple declaration that speaks volumes, a campaign sparked by the visionary CEO at Hope Gas, Morgan O’Brien, who is a living example of the importance of making progress in people’s lives.

Hope Gas was a mainstay in West Virginia for 125 years. While different owners brought different names over the years, most recently Dominion Energy West Virginia, under Morgan’s leadership, one of the company’s first decisions was to bring back its original name from 1898 — Hope Gas.

Although the name is rooted in the past, O’Brien has made it clear that this is also a salute to the state’s bright future. The name is a celebration of 125 years of service built on pride, family, integrity and faith. Hope Gas lives again — but with a much bigger vision.

Hope Gas knows that West Virginians have always been pioneers. They blazed trails across the frontier and built the nation with steel and coal. Today, the state’s abundant natural resources, top-tier universities and cutting-edge hospitals position West Virginia to become a global leader — once again.

The company is investing in that spirit, tradition and hope. From hiring local contractors to promoting the boundless opportunities in the state, West Virginia is For Hope is laser-focused on building on the state’s pioneer spirit to signal to the nation that the Mountain State is an economic leader — and the place to be.

Tomorrow is being built today in West Virginia. And Hope Gas is lighting the way.

They aren’t just Pioneers, they are Mountaineers.
