Ho, ho, ho, and welcome to our special holiday edition of Bravo Group’s Morning Scrapple, our snapshot of political opinion from the nation’s most crucial battleground state.

Ready to gather ‘round the Christmas goose and argue about Die Hard’s place in the holiday canon? We’ve got your back, and we’ll give you the data to finally quiet that pesky Aunt who’s had one too many ‘nogs and insists that real trees are the way to go.

As it turns out, an artificial tree is firmly planted in the middle of the bipartisan divide, with 59% of Republicans and 57% of Democrats preferring it to the real thing. Who knew that a mutual disdain for cleaning needles out of the carpet was the issue to heal our political divide?

Order up.
