The murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor are only the most recent tragedies that have occurred because America has been unable or unwilling to end racial inequality.
I will honor my obligation to act affirmatively and persistently to bring the urgent change needed for every single person of color to fully realize the promise and ideals of our nation.
I commit to help end racism and build an inclusive, unified society founded on equal opportunity and equal justice.
We must all seize this moment, and I ask my colleagues and friends to join me by using their positions, networks, talents, resources and time in whatever way they can to right the racial wrongs in our society.
