The Challenge

Create a healthier approach to medical research.

The same medical treatment can produce different reactions across races and ethnicities. When healthcare works for some more than others, underserved and underrepresented communities lose trust in the system.

To increase awareness of the need for more diverse clinical research, we built a strong, strategic brand identity for Advancing Inclusive Research. Videos, webpages, social posts, op-eds, manuscripts, and employee training sessions dramatically grew awareness and engagement, especially within African American and Hispanic communities. Fully embraced by Genentech’s and Roche’s top leadership, our work is now a priority across the entire organization.
